MiCon is a talent agency based in Barcelona connecting clients with curated performers, including DJs, dancers, live musicians, themed acts, makeup and specialty artists for hotels, clubs, bars, companies, weddings, rooftops and private events.Using This Website
All content is provided for information purposes and may change without notice. By contacting us via form, email, or WhatsApp, you agree that we may reply using the details you provide. Our website may use limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for site analytics and security. By continuing to use this website you consent to the use of essential cookies.
Quotes and Bookings
MiCon issues quotes only after confirming event details and artist availability. The quoted price is firm for the services described and remains valid until the due date stated in the quote or invoice. MiCon’s agency commission is included in the total quoted price and will be shown in the booking confirmation. A booking becomes confirmed when the Client pays the fifty percent (50%) Reservation Fee and MiCon issues written confirmation. If the Client later changes date, times, location, duration, lineup, technical requirements, or overall scope (e.g., significant guest‑count changes or event type), MiCon may update the price and will require the Client’s explicit approval before proceeding. Before accepting a booking, MiCon may request practical information (access, power, schedules, permits) to ensure safe and lawful delivery of the event.Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Payments
To confirm a booking and secure the date the Client must pay a non‑refundable reservation fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total fee (“Reservation Fee”). The Reservation Fee guarantees the artist’s availability and covers administrative and preparation costs.The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the total fee (“Final Payment”) must be paid on the day of the event, before the artist begins the performance. The artist will not perform until MiCon confirms in writing (email/WhatsApp) that full payment has been received. Where agreed in writing, payment may be made on‑site in cash; otherwise payments must be made to MiCon by bank transfer or the method stated in the booking confirmation.All payments must be made to MiCon using the payment instructions on the invoice or booking confirmation. MiCon will issue the invoice/payment request with bank details and payment deadlines. Quoted availability and pricing are not guaranteed until MiCon confirms the booking in writing and receives the Reservation Fee.Artist remittance: MiCon will remit the Artist’s net fee within forty‑eight (48) hours of MiCon’s receipt of full payment from the Client and after receipt of a valid invoice or payment document from the Artist. If Parties agree an alternative payment method (for example an on‑site cash payment to the Artist), that arrangement will be recorded in writing in the booking confirmation.
All sums are in Euros (EUR). The Artist is responsible for all applicable taxes, social security contributions and other legal obligations arising from amounts received.Cancellations by the Client
If the Client cancels more than thirty (30) days before the Event Date, the Reservation Fee is non‑refundable but no additional payment is required.
If the Client cancels between seven (7) and thirty (30) days before the Event Date, seventy‑five percent (75%) of the total fee is due.
If the Client cancels between forty‑eight (48) hours and seven (7) days before the Event Date, eighty‑five percent (85%) of the total fee is due.
If the Client cancels less than forty‑eight (48) hours before the Event Date, one hundred percent (100%) of the total fee is due.
All cancellation charges are payable within seven (7) days of the cancellation notice. MiCon may charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of one‑point‑five percent (1.5%) per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law.
If MiCon recovers any cancellation fees or other amounts from the Client following cancellation, recovered sums (after deduction of any non‑recoverable third‑party costs and bank/processing fees) will be distributed as follows:
a) From the Reservation Fee (first 50%): 50% to MiCon and 50% to the Artist.
b) From any additional recovered funds attributable to the Final Payment (second 50%): 70% to MiCon and 30% to the Artist.
MiCon will first retain any agreed agency commission and actual third‑party costs (as specified in the booking confirmation). Any remaining recovered funds will be distributed according to the rules above. MiCon will remit any amounts due to the Artist within seven (7) days of receipt of the recovered funds.
Cancellations by the Artist
If the Artist cancels a confirmed booking the following penalty schedule applies (amounts refer to the total agreed fee for that booking):
• More than 30 days before the Event Date: no financial penalty (MiCon may delist or warn repeat offenders).
• 30–8 days before the Event Date: no financial penalty (MiCon may delist repeat offenders).
• 7–4 days before the Event Date: penalty equal to the greater of €100 or fifteen percent (15%) of the agreed fee, payable to MiCon within seven (7) days.
• 72–48 hours before the Event Date: penalty equal to the greater of €150 or thirty percent (30%) of the agreed fee, payable to MiCon within seven (7) days.
• Less than 24 hours before the Event Date, or a no‑show: penalty equal to fifty percent (50%) of the agreed fee, payable to MiCon within seven (7) days. Repeated or serious breaches may result in removal from the MiCon roster.Documented medical emergency or force majeure (with satisfactory proof) may waive penalties. Penalties may be offset or deducted from amounts otherwise due to the Artist for the same booking.Cancellations or changes by MiCon
If a named artist becomes unavailable, MiCon will offer a comparable or better substitute at the same price and will provide the substitute’s profile for the Client’s approval. If the Client does not accept the substitute, or if MiCon cannot provide a suitable replacement, the Client may cancel and MiCon will refund the Reservation Fee in full. MiCon will always make reasonable efforts to ensure client satisfaction and to provide an equal or improved alternative whenever possible.Force Majeure
If an event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the control of either party (such as extreme weather, illness, accidents, strikes, natural disasters, or government restrictions), both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event. If rescheduling is not possible, MiCon will refund all payments received, less any specific third‑party expenses previously approved in writing by the Client and any bank or processing fees that cannot be recovered.Late Payments
Any payment not received within the specified period may result in additional charges or suspension of services until payment is made. MiCon reserves the right to charge interest at the rate noted above and to withhold deposits or future services until full settlement of any outstanding amount.Refunds
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the same payment method used by the Client and exclude any bank transaction fees or third‑party processing charges. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for processing. In the event of an unjustified payment reversal or chargeback initiated by the Client, MiCon reserves the right to recover the full amount due plus any associated bank, legal, or collection costs.Talent Substitution and Artist Conduct
Artists engaged by MiCon are expected to maintain professional conduct and adhere to performance standards and venue rules. If a named artist becomes unavailable MiCon will offer a comparable or better substitute at the same price and will provide the substitute’s profile for client approval. If the client does not accept the substitute, or if MiCon cannot provide a suitable substitute, the client may cancel and MiCon will refund the Reservation Fee in full; this does not apply if the client is in breach of the Agreement.Client Responsibilities and Venue Requirements
The Client must provide a safe performance area, adequate power supply, weather protection for outdoor events, timely access for setup and teardown, and an on‑site contact person. The Client must ensure all necessary venue permissions, licences and local regulations are met (noise, safety, capacity). The Client is responsible for venue or third‑party fees (sound rental, permits), unless expressly included in the quote. Overtime, additional sets, extra talent, or technical add‑ons requested on the day may incur additional charges at agreed rates. The Client is responsible for any damages caused to the venue or equipment by their guests or themselves during the event.Fees, Expenses, and Overtime
Booking quotes include MiCon’s agency commission as part of the total price. Travel, accommodation or special technical requirements may be charged additionally if applicable and pre‑agreed. Overtime is any on‑site time beyond the contracted end time, including performance or standby. Overtime is billed in 30‑minute increments at 150% of the standard hourly rate per talent, with a minimum charge of thirty (30) minutes. Overtime must be approved on‑site by the Client or the Client’s designated representative, including by WhatsApp or written acknowledgment. Any additional technical, venue, or third‑party costs required to accommodate overtime will be billed separately if applicable.Liability and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiCon’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a booking is limited to the total fees paid by the Client for that specific event. MiCon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, business, or reputational harm). The Client is responsible for ensuring safe venue conditions and shall indemnify MiCon and the Artist against claims arising from unsafe or non‑compliant venue conditions, except where caused by MiCon’s willful misconduct. MiCon shall be responsible for losses directly and demonstrably caused by MiCon’s willful misconduct. Artists are independent contractors and remain personally responsible for their own acts and omissions. Nothing in this Agreement shall make MiCon liable for an artist’s individual negligence or for incidents outside MiCon’s reasonable control. The Client should maintain appropriate event and venue insurance (property and liability). MiCon strongly recommends that participating artists carry personal liability insurance.Intellectual Property and Media
Logos, text and media on this site are owned by MiCon or used with permission. Do not reproduce them without consent. Unless the client objects in writing, MiCon and the artist may capture and use brief clips or photos from the event for portfolio and social media, respecting privacy and venue rules.Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.Non‑Circumvention
The Client and the Artist acknowledge that MiCon is the introducing and coordinating party for the booking. For any Client, Venue, or Event introduced by MiCon, if the Client and the Artist engage again for services within twenty-four (24) months from the Event Date, MiCon shall be entitled to its agency commission on the fees payable for such services.Definition of Protected Bookings:
A Client, Venue, or Event is considered to have been introduced by MiCon, and therefore subject to these non-circumvention and commission obligations, in the following cases:a) Same Client + Same Venue: Any event that the Client requests at that same Venue.
b) Same Client + Same Event: The same service or show for that same Client at any other Venue.
c) Same Event + Same Venue: The same service or show at that same Venue for any other Client.
The Artist is free to accept a direct booking only if the Client hires them for a different Event at a different Venue. For any other organic contact (e.g., guests or third parties who contact the Artist directly following a performance), the Artist is free to contract directly, provided such contacts were not introduced by MiCon as defined in this clause.Disclosure and Enforcement:
The Client and the Artist shall promptly disclose to MiCon, upon request, any bookings between them during the 24-month period. MiCon’s commission for such bookings shall be payable within seven (7) days of MiCon’s invoice. If the Client or the Artist engages directly in violation of this clause, MiCon is entitled to recover its commission plus reasonable collection and legal costs.Compliance and Conduct
MiCon and the artists will perform services with professional care and in compliance with applicable laws and reasonable venue rules. MiCon may refuse or stop a performance if conditions are unsafe or unlawful. In such cases, fees already due remain payable.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes apply to new bookings from the date of publication. For significant changes we will notify users directly via email or a notice on our website.Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by Spanish law. The courts of Barcelona shall have exclusive jurisdiction.Contact

With Artists: We share necessary event details and client contact information with the artists involved in your booking to facilitate the performance.
With Clients: We share necessary artist profile and contact information with clients to facilitate bookings.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or MiCon’s legitimate interest in operating and improving its services. We do not send marketing communications without your explicit consent.Data Retention

Where agreed in writing, payment may be made on‑site in cash; otherwise payments must be made to MiCon by bank transfer or the method stated in the booking confirmation.All payments must be made to MiCon using the payment instructions on the invoice or booking confirmation. MiCon will issue the invoice/payment request with bank details and payment deadlines. Quoted availability and pricing are not guaranteed until MiCon confirms the booking in writing and receives the Reservation Fee.Artist Remittance: MiCon will remit the Artist’s net fee within forty‑eight (48) hours of MiCon’s receipt of full payment from the Client and after receipt of a valid invoice or payment document from the Artist.Cancellations by the Client
If the Client cancels more than thirty (30) days before the Event Date, the Reservation Fee is non‑refundable but no additional payment is required.
If the Client cancels between seven (7) and thirty (30) days before the Event Date, seventy‑five percent (75%) of the total fee is due.
If the Client cancels between forty‑eight (48) hours and seven (7) days before the Event Date, eighty‑five percent (85%) of the total fee is due.
If the Client cancels less than forty‑eight (48) hours before the Event Date, one hundred percent (100%) of the total fee is due.All cancellation charges are payable within seven (7) days of the cancellation notice. MiCon may charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of one‑point‑five percent (1.5%) per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law.Distribution of Recovered Funds:
If MiCon recovers cancellation fees from the Client, the funds (after deduction of non-recoverable costs) will be distributed as follows:From the Reservation Fee (first 50%): 50% to MiCon and 50% to the Artist.
From any additional recovered funds (second 50%): 70% to MiCon and 30% to the Artist.
MiCon will remit any amounts due to the Artist within seven (7) days of receipt of the recovered funds.Cancellations by the Artist
If the Artist cancels a confirmed booking, the following penalty schedule applies:More than 30 days before: No financial penalty (MiCon may delist repeat offenders).
30–8 days before: No financial penalty (MiCon may delist repeat offenders).
7–4 days before: Penalty equal to the greater of €100 or 15% of the agreed fee.
72–48 hours before: Penalty equal to the greater of €150 or 30% of the agreed fee.
Less than 24 hours or No-Show: Penalty equal to 50% of the agreed fee and removal from the roster.
Documented medical emergencies or force majeure (with proof) may waive penalties. Penalties may be deducted from any amounts otherwise due to the Artist.Cancellations or changes by MiCon
If a named artist becomes unavailable, MiCon will offer a comparable or better substitute at the same price and will provide the substitute’s profile for the Client’s approval. If the Client does not accept the substitute, or if MiCon cannot provide a suitable replacement, the Client may cancel and MiCon will refund the Reservation Fee in full.Force Majeure
If an event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the control of either party (extreme weather, illness, accidents, strikes, natural disasters, or government restrictions), both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, MiCon will refund all payments received, less any specific third‑party expenses previously approved in writing by the Client and any non-recoverable processing fees.Late Payments
Any payment not received within the specified period may result in additional charges or suspension of services. MiCon reserves the right to charge interest at the rate noted above and to withhold deposits or future services until full settlement of any outstanding amount.Refunds
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the same payment method used by the Client and exclude any bank transaction fees or third‑party processing charges. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for processing. In the event of an unjustified payment reversal or chargeback, MiCon reserves the right to recover the full amount due plus any associated bank, legal, or collection costs.Contact
